Conservation contractor based near Castleton, Derbyshire. Is now using a very high specification SOFTRAK , in the Peak district National Park, this machine is been used in a restoration project to restore heather to the high moors, after many years of over grazing, and poor land management.

Softrak was recently in action on Willsworthy M.o.d Training Range, Okehampton, Dartmoor, Devon. During a Swalling demonstration. (Moorland Management.)
Softrak complete with flail mower was in action to show the benefits of putting in fire brakes to control the spreading fire.

The Softrak is also fitted with fire fogging equipment complete with 1000 litres of water, this will allow you to have large controlled heather burns, this equipment is in used on many, large Grouse Moors, over this country for controlled burning.
