English Nature, Reserve in the South west of England
, has just taken
delivery of a
SOFTRAK,
with a (500 mm) ground clearance, this machine
is to be used in land managment and conservation, of wetland habitats

SOFTRAK in the High Peaks Estate,
as an aid to the land managment / conservation (Peak district National Parks) 3rd

was recently in action on Willsworthy M.o.d Training Range, Okehampton,
Dartmoor, Devon. During a Swalling demonstration. (Moorland Management.) Softrak
complete with flail mower was in action to show the benefits of putting in fire
brakes to control the spreading fire. The
Softrak is also fitted with fire fogging equipment complete with 1000 litres of
water, this will allow you to have large controlled heather burns, this equipment
is in used on many, large Grouse Moors, over this country for controlled burning.
