The Fire Fogging system destroys fire. The all terrain vehicle Softrak is fitted
with this system |
| Fire Fogging Systems have over the years concentrated their efforts to fighting fire with low water volume and high-density fog produced. These are suitable for controlling and suppressing various types of fire. Fire Fogging units are designed to produce a specific water droplet size and jet stream velocity to provide an effective fire fighting combination. This gives deep fire penetration, rapid knockdown, extended fire attack time, rapid temperature drop due to efficient heat absorption and large reaction surface of the water droplets on the fire area. As the water droplets very quickly turn to steam they absorb large amounts of energy, namely heat. Consequentially the water vapour expands in volume of 1640 times. This reduces the oxygen content in the fire, resulting in an immediate temperature drop. | ||

| Softrak is a Multi-Purpose, All Terrain Load/Personal Carrier. The Softrak is able to traverse steep slopes and cross very soft ground with ease, by virtue of it's exceptional ground clearance and extremely low ground pressure Bridgestone rubber tracks. Unlike rigid track systems the rubber track has been designed with flexible edges, so that it can deflect over obstacles and not cut into soft ground whilst manoeuvring, causing minimal damage to sensitive environments or highway surfaces. With Rubber mounted floating bogies a smooth ride can be achieved over rough ground. Softrak is the latest in low ground pressure machines. |
| Fire Fogging covers very large areas rapidly absorbing energy by the water expanding into steam, cutting the supply of oxygen instantly. It spreads quickly, reaching areas that can't be extinguished by water directly and washing away dangerous gases at the same time. Even difficult fires can be safely brought under control. |
| Fire Fogging Systems have been designing, developing and manufacturing this system with the assistance of the UK fire service and the Ministry of Defence, a low volume fire fighting system. This has been conceived through continued research and development carried out on freighting with low water volume and high-density fogging. They are well placed in the market to offer a new approach to fighting fires. |

Tensioning of the rubber track is by grease filled rams and can be easily adjusted with a standard grease gun. |

The heavy-duty track rollers are fully sealed with mechanical face seals (as found
on Caterpillar excavators) to give unrivalled reliability and maintenance free
operation in all conditions. |

comfortable Three Man Cab comes with
tinted glass, full height doors, opening side windows and sound proofing as standard
and with a full heating and ventilation system (optional Air Conditioning) ensures
stress free operation in all weathers. The rubber suspension allows the cab to
be tilted forward to allow easy access to the engine and transmission for service.

Large Cargo
Area behind the cab can be adapted to a wide range of options,
being fitted as standard with a lightweight pickup body for general use. The clear
flat cargo area allows large or heavy loads to be accommodated and with a sensible
loading height lifting on and off of awkward objects is no longer a back breaking
exercise. Options include the fitting of personnel bodies for up to 8 people with independent heating and quick attach option, cranes, Tipping bodies and water bowsers (up to 2,000 litres). |

powerful Turbo
Diesel Engine is allied to a servo control hydrostatic transmission
system to give stepiess speed control with full automatic braking. The two speed track motors allow high tractive effort and reduced speed for when climbing steep slopes or carrying heavy loads and the option of high speed for rapid transit when conditions allow. The patented Single Joystick Control is unique to Loglogic and allows exceptionally smooth control of all the transmission functions from contra-rotation on the spot at low speed to wide sweeping curves at high speed all at the touch of a lever. As a safety feature the joystick will automatically return to the neutral position on release bringing the machine to a controlled stop. The control lever must also be in the neutral position and the brakes applied to start the engine. For emergency braking and parking the SOFTRAK is supplied with oil immersed multi disk brakes as standard. |
